Our Cattle
The Herd
We currently have 800 Fullblood Wagyu breeders and are planning to grow our herd to 1200. To accelerate our herd building we have utilised an artificial insemination programme for each of our joining yearlings and we use embryo transfer to further the quality of our herd genetics.
Genetics
To maximise the genetic potential of our herd, we use the information from carcass data and the Wagyu producers that we purchased our herd from. We believe this breeding program will result in animals with higher MARBLE SCORES coupled with LARGER FRAMES. We sell our semen and embryos that are produced based on Tekeda's breeding principle of growth and marbling generation programme.
